We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 180 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and will soon be launching the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
We have grown quite a bit over the last few years and are almost two-hundred “Sharks” now, but we still embrace the same values that we started with and still think of ourselves like one big family with fun at the center. Come into our world, a world known for our crazy internally designed socks, hackweeks, and Friday afternoons for studio-wide “social play” time. It all adds up to an approachable, fun, passion-driven yet communal environment for us to work in.
We are looking for a Technical Artist to join our environment production team. You will work directly with our Technical Artists, Environment Artists and Programmers to create high quality and performant environments for our games.
You will be responsible for shader development in our inhouse shader authoring tools, building functional environment assets and improving the environment art production pipeline.
Our team and work environment is highly agile, collaborative and creative, thus it gives the individual team members a lot of influence along with responsibility. As part of the TA team you are a central role in our environment production and will act as a performance evangelist in the environment art team. You will tie disciplines together and improve the overall workflow of our projects. We need you to be an excellent problem solver with strong communication skills, and we hope that you thrive in working in a highly creative and collaborative work environment!
