Savvy Games Studios (SGS) mission is to create a world-leading game studios in Saudi Arabia, creating high-quality games for international audiences. Also to help Saudi’s passionate gaming sector to develop homegrown IP and more broadly, make KSA a global hub for gaming.

As part of the SGS team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate and hardworking Saudis.

SGS is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer willing to push the creative boundaries to create memorable and accessible user experiences. As a Senior UI/UX artist, you would work closely with game designers, artists and programmers to facilitate the game's UI/UX creation and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UX research and user studies activities.
• Support high-level game design in intuitive UX flows. Brainstorm ideas and create prototypes to help find creative solutions.
• Create and express design decisions with a data-informed vision, design rationale and solutions to team members: designers, artists, engineers, producers.
• Preparing wireframes and prototypes with a variety of design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc).
• Create UI screens/art elements and implement in Unity

Qualifications and Key Skills:

• a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as Senior/Lead UX designer (with full game release cycle experience).
• experience creating interfaces for mobile games, concepts in a given style.
• good understanding of usability principles, requirements, and trends of the mobile games market.
• understand players through data, research, and empathy.
• a broad and varied taste and experience with games.
• proficient with design tools to display User Experiences.
• good understanding about landscape and portrait layout for phones and proposing UI solutions that match the device constraints.
• good understanding of hit areas and UX compliance mobile guidelines.
• Experience managing, assessing, and developing a team.
